				What is the Lighthouse Ministry Fellowship? The Lighthouse Ministry Fellowship (LMF) is an independent, fundamental, bible-based local New Testament church. LMF is not a part of any "Movement" or "Association" of any similar name, nor does it report to any denominational headquarters, convention, or similar national or international entity created by man. Therefore the New Testament is the final charter, constitution and ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice for this local Body. We hold that, "All scripture (both Old and New Testaments) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2Tim 3:16). We hold that for the Church to be the "pillar and ground of the truth" the Church must do more than teach "true things", it must tenaciously hold, teach, preach, support and defend God's "Truth". More than that, we must "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." (Jude 1:3). The LMF is committed to fulfilling the role of a "lighthouse", and brightly showing forth the Light of God's truth to those in danger of perishing. Why the symbol of the Lighthouse? The Lighthouse has long been a symbol of constancy, safety and security in the face of stormy times. In times past lighthouses were sentinels in the night that guided lost souls to safe harbor & unfortunately, today they are also symbols of something that has been lost. The Lighthouse Ministry Fellowship is a church that understands that people need to be drawn to "The Light", not the lights and the noise. It is a church that understands that people need to "see Jesus" John 12:21, not the preacher, nor a performer, or we have failed. It is church that understands that when people come they need to hear Truth, not just true things or we have failed. It is a church that understands that speaking the Truth, even in love, is not going to popular today, but that also understands that "whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." The Lighthouse Ministry Fellowship is not seeking the approval of men, but rather to please God.
